theres this guy i vaguely know whose nickname amongst my friend circle is ‘code geass kid’

we all know his real name but we still refer to him as ‘code geass kid’ whenever we bring him up

apparently for my friend’s intro to japanese history class the final project involved doing a presentation on any facet of japanese pop culture from past or present

this guy walked up to the front and went “today im going to do a presentation on anime. but not just any anime— code geass.”

then he played a clip from the dub, and then asked the class what they thought about it

my friend went “it’s really poorly dubbed”

the kid freaked out at him and insisted he was wrong. then he sat back down. he literally didnt do anything but play a clip of code geass. he proceeded to fail the presentation.
